We are currently recruiting for fun and friendly candidates for some of our fantastic local nurseries in Cambridge. You will be taking care of, play with or teach children while they are at the Nursery in the day time. The ideal candidates should be highly trustworthy and attentive to children’s needs. Talking to and interacting with the children, keeping a watchful eye on the children's behaviour, encouraging shy children to participate and maintaining discipline. You do not always need formal qualifications to start training as a nursery worker, although a good standard of general education, such as GCSEs, including English and maths, would be helpful
The role:
Friendly and enthusiastic personality
Previous child care experience preferred
Providing a safe and secure environment for all children
Ensuring all the children reach their individual developmental stages
Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents and carers
Contributing to planned programmes of activities for suitable to the age ranges
Keeping records of achievements on file of the children, for parents/carers
NVQ 2 qualified (not essential)
First Aid qualified (not essential)
