Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Nursery Assistant to work in a lovely nursery in Hulme, Manchester.

You will be asked to support the team and supervise children from 3 months to 5 years. The ideal candidate will ideally be also keen to undertake necessary training in order to develop in their career in education further.

The usual working times in private nurseries are between 7.30am-6pm

The ideal Nursery Assistant will have:
• A childcare qualification (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3)
• Good knowledge of EYFS and a minimum of 3 months experience in nurseries
• Excellent communication skills with children, their families and colleagues
• Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS
• High initiative and flexibility
• A commitment to the health, safety and well-being of all children at the nursery
• A positive, happy attitude and a willingness to maintain continuous professional development
• Have a valid DBS or willing to complete one.
• Right to work in the UK
• Excellent references, proof of address and DBS/police checks
