Job description
I am looking for an experienced nursery assistant to work on a daily supply basis for Protocol Education. This is a great opportunity to build on or gain experience within a range of highly rated nurseries within the borough of Islington. You will have access to a wide variety of nursery settings with varying shifts and will be accountable for the wellbeing of small children between the ages of 6 months and 4 years.

You must be available between the hours of 7:30am to 6:30pm, be able to work a minimum of 3 days a week, have a passion for child care and enthusiastic.

To be eligible for this opportunity you will be:

• Able to work with children of all abilities
• Have up to date professional childcare related references covering the last two years
• Flexible and able to work nursery hours
• Have previous experience in the role of nursery assistant and early years
• Have an up to date DBS on the update system or be willing to apply for one
• Eligible to work in the UK

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
