Protocol Education is currently recruiting Nursery Assistants for day-to-day and short-term supply opportunities across nurseries and early years settings in Bristol.

The Role

• Support children with their daily routines, learning and development.
• Assist with play-based and EYFS activities.
• Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
• Help with mealtimes, personal care and daily routines where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
• Work alongside Nursery Practitioners and other staff.
• Adapt quickly to different nursery settings and age groups.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare, school or similar setting is desirable.
• Early Years or childcare qualifications are advantageous but not essential for all roles.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, adaptable and professional.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
