Nursery Assistant to start ASAP

The shifts are 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday, however the nursery can facilitiate part time days, term time only and all year around contracts.

A vibrant private nursery near Easton in Bristol is focused on providing outstanding care to children from 3 months old to 5 years of age. They are passionate about providing babies, toddlers, and preschool children with the best start in their early years education and work diligently to ensure that this results in safe and happy children in their care.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To provide and maintain a high quality service to children working as part of a staff team to meet children’s individual needs.
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
  • To assist with the planning and delivery of a wide range of activities to meet children’s needs.
  • To work within the EYFS and promote high standards of care for the children.
  • To help maintain a child-centred environment.
  • To use observation and reflective practice to contribute to planning and evaluation in the setting.
  • To maintain children’s safety and well being during attendance at the play setting and on trips to external facilities.
  • To ensure good communication with staff, parents, and carers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
