Protocol Education are recruiting for experienced teacher and NQTs to work as tutors for the National Tutoring Programme in Schools across the Tyne and Wear area.
Candidates must be available for face to face tuition to be considered for this work.
The NTP was created to support schools by providing access to subsidised high-quality tuition to disadvantaged pupils, whose learning has been impacted by the pandemic. The NTP programme can only be delivered by one of a small number of chosen providers; Protocol Education are one of these.
As an approved tuition partner of the NTP, Protocol Education is training and supporting tutors to tuition programmes in schools across the country. NTP tutors provide 1 to 3 or 1 to 1 intervention in English, Maths and Science from KS1 to KS4.
Successful candidates will work closely with our consultants and NTP team to find a role that fits them. Work available will include bookings from 3 hours per day to full-time long-term work. Qualified teachers working as NTP tutors will earn up to £175 per day.

The successful candidate will:
·Be a creative, motivational and effective classroom practitioner
· Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate young people
·Be reflective and analytical about their own classroom practice
·Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week from September 2021

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.
