Job description
NQT Business Studies & Economics Required - Unmissable opportunity at an Excellent School located in Harrow!

Protocol Education are currently seeking an engaging and inspirational NQT of Business Studies and Economics for a long -term position starting September 2019. This is a long-term opportunity running through to the end of the academic year. You will be required to deliver the UK curriculum of Business Studies & Economics up to KS5. The ideal candidate for this post will need to demonstrate strong teaching practice during their teacher training, and record of delivering results and raising attainment. Passion towards the academic development of pupils, and ability to engage and encourage students to reach their full potential.

About School:

The High School is a mixed comprehensive school offer a welcoming, supportive and stimulating environment in which students are developed to reach their full academic and personal potentials. The secondary phase has roughly 900 pupils on roll and are looking to appoint a passionate and talented NQT. The school were rated Good' by Ofsted and particularly praised for having a very positive impact on the attainment and progress of students.

Pupils were particularly praised for their achievement and progression after leaving the school, with all year 11 pupils going into further education or employment.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the below:

• QTS Status or equivalent qualification
• Previous teaching training in a UK Mainstream school delivering Business Studies & Economics to KS5.
• Ability to demonstrate methods of assessment
• Passion and enthusiasm for the subject
• Commitment and reliability
• Hold DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Able to provide two school-based references
