Job description
If you have recently completed your PGCE or are in the process of finishing next term please join Protocol Education now to be considered for teaching roles starting in September 2016 within the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham. Awarded the Temporary Agency of the Year Recruiter Awards, our experienced and dedicated consultants will support you in finding the right school.

Schools in Barking & Dagenham

Currently there are 8 Infant Schools, 8 Junior Schools, 29 Primary Schools, 9 Secondary Schools, 1 Secondary Tuition Centre (Referral Unit) and 1 Special School serving the community in Barking and Dagenham. The increase in the number of school age children in Barking and Dagenham is dramatic. In January 2011 there were 34,682 pupils in all primary and secondary schools, a rise of 4.6 percentage points on last year. The school roll has increased by 13.3% in primary and 6.2% in secondary schools from 2007 to 2011, an overall increase of 10.4%. A further 1,000 extra pupils in the primary school age group are expected every year for the next three years and further growth in primary school numbers until at least 2018. The growth in the school roll equates to a new primary school class intake each year to 2018.
