I am currently working with a school in West Leeds who are looking for a Music Teacher to join their department, for a full-time post starting as soon as possible or in January 2021 applicants must hold QTS or QTLS.

Responsibilities of this role:
• Full teaching, planning and marking commitments of KS3/ KS4 Music classes - A-level lessons may be added to the timetable, dependent on applicants experience.
• Lead GCSE Intervention sessions
• Work with students who have fallen behind due to the gap out of education.
• Hold strong behaviour management adhering to the positive behaviour policy within the school.
• Have pastoral responsibility mainly including having own year 8 form group.

Requirements of the role:
• Hold QTS suited position for both Newly Qualified Teachers & NQT's (QTLS may be considered if hold relevant experience in secondary schools).
• Experience teaching KS3/ KS4 English experience working with KS5 students is ideal but not essential.
• Able to support GCSE students and ideally A-level students.
• Hold strong behaviour management.
• Can plan and deliver lessons to student of a ranging ability.
• Be available full time.
• Hold a DSS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
• Experience supporting SENd and SEMH students is ideal but not essential.
