A North Tyneside secondary required a MFL teacher to begin work from 27/02/22. You will work until at least  Christmas 2023 with the possibility of it being extended after this point. The position has arisen as a result of a maternity cover. This is a part time position (currently Tuesday- Friday) however there may be some flexibility to increase to full time if desired by the successful candidate,

The school requires the successful teacher of MFL to teach Spanish to KS3 and KS4 and KS3 French. You will be joining successful and popular Modern Foreign Languages department that has been praised in the schools most recent OFSTED.

This OFSTED graded good school is located in North Tyneside, close to a large bus interchange and within a short drive from the A19 and Tyne Tunnel making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Newcastle, Northumberland and South Tyneside.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of teaching Spanish to KS4 and French to KS3. You will hold or have  been recommended for QTS. Applications from both experienced MFL teachers and ECTs will be welcomed.  

The role:

  • MFL Teacher
  • Spanish – KS3 and KS4
  • French – KS3 (1 class)
  • 27/02/22 until at least Christmas 2023 (may be longer)
  • 4 days per week (currently Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday )

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
