Job description
Are you a Teacher of MFL able to teach French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils? Are you looking for a long term position from September for the duration of this academic year?

This Birmingham Secondary School close to the border with Worcestershire is looking to appoint a Modern languages Teacher to a maternity cover position for the duration of the academic year 2017/18.

Located in the South West of Birmingham close to the border with Worcestershire this secondary school are looking to appoint a Qualified Teacher of MFL for a 1 Year maternity cover post that will see the successful applicant teaching French and Spanish to mixed ability levels within KS3 & KS4.

This Ofsted' rated Good school have developed a good reputation within the local community and benefit from being situated on an excellent site with large playing fields and borders an urban local community and rural areas. They have excellent facilities and also benefit from good transport links by bus and easy commuting access by car from surrounding areas, including large parking facilities.

The school have a strong new leadership team who have started to embed an ethos of hard work and high expectations throughout. The school are keen to appoint a passionate teacher of French & Spanish who will take on a full timetable and who will work with pupils at a variety of ability levels and will cover all age groups within the school within KS3 and KS4.

The school's population is predominantly white British with the proportion of pupils with EAL being broadly around the national average. The number of pupils eligible for the pupil premium and free school meals is significantly higher than the national average, whilst the number of pupils with special needs is also above the national average.
