MFL Teacher

Languages are an important part of the school’s wider vision. Values, safeguarding and curriculum

The school actively promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs. These principles run through the curriculum, encouraging pupils to express their ideas through discussion, debate and thoughtful reflection.

Provision across RP, PSHCE and SMSC supports the school’s ethos. Pupils learn about major world faiths and, where possible, visit places of worship during KS3 and KS4. Online safety, extremism awareness and safeguarding are embedded through a structured life programme, ICT lessons, assemblies, tutor time and specialist teaching. As with all schools, staff play a key role in safeguarding and are expected to remain vigilant and follow procedures by raising concerns with designated safeguarding leads.

• UK QTS or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
