We are currently lookong to motivated and inspiring Mental Health Support Assistant to help support students within the Newcasstle area. 

Within the role you will be supporting students with a number of different needs such as ASC, Social Emotion Mental Health needs, Complex Learning disabilities or has a Education, health care plan.

We are looking for a candidate who;

  • Is willing and wanting to help students, no matter their background or ability, to reach their potential
  • Is able to inspire students by the way that they engage and interact with their students 
  • Is able to use a variety of different techniques and skills to support students
  • Has a genuine passion for the role
  • Is able to communicate with other effectively such as other team members, parents/carers,
  • Is able to create professional relationships and able to build trust

Due to the nature of the role we are required to take safeguarding steps which include:

  • DBS check preferably on the update service
  • 3 year reference check from professionals with all gaps covered
  • Proof of address and right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
