Protocol Education are working on behalf of a highly regarded Secondary Academy based in the heart of Cambridge to recruit a teacher of Media Studies to join their team from September in an ongoing, potentially permanent post. 

As a member of staff, you will be required to be an engaging practitioner with the strong ability to communicate with students from all backgrounds. The school in particular prides and honours itself on the ability to gift their students with the highest quality of education possible. The ideal candidate will have:
QTS or an equivalent UK recognised teaching qualification 
Experience of teaching Media Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (NQTs will be considered for this post)
The ability to plan engaging lessons of varying levels

What we expect from you:

• Previous experience in assisting students with their learning
• Behaviour management skills are beneficial but not compulsory
• Proven track record in raising attainment levels within students
• Planning and producing lesson plans, as well as marking and grading students work
• Sophisticated communication skills

This is ideally a full time position although the school may be able to adjust the timetable to fit someone looking for part time hours only.
