If you are a Mathematics Student studying in Bristol, working in schools as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor is the ideal way to build excellent transferrbale skills, impressive CV experience, all while applying your studeies, earning money and working on days that are convenient for you! The Role

To gain experience, you can begin just supporting classrooms as a Teaching Assistant, aiding the teacher and supporting students to access the leanring. Then, as an Unqualified Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, mainly within History and Humanities
  • Deliver pre-set work and keep pupils engaged
  • Maintain calm routines and clear expectations
  • Support learning across other subjects when required
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff
