Protocol Education are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher at an alternative education setting in Bradford.

The position is on a full-time basis. The school is currently open.

The setting caters for learners aged 11-16 with an EHCP plan for Social Emotional and Mental Health needs as well as other complex needs.

Responsibilities:
• Ideally a driver
• Teaching or learning qualification
• Worked with vulnerable pupils in alternative education settings leading activities/educational based work
• Experience of dealing with challenging behaviours
• Ability to teach a wide range of abilities, from KS 2-4.

Person Specification
• Previous experience in working with young people on the Autistic Spectrum and with behavioural difficulties.
• Previous experience working in a school setting with SEMH & EBD children is essential
• Applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS maintained on the update service
• Experience of teaching in a PRU or Special School with SEMH learners with a proven track record of supporting lower ability students.
• Team Teach training would be desirable, although training can be provided.
