Maths Teacher

Located to the South of Birmingham City Centre this Ofsted rated Good secondary school are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to a full time position initially for the duration of the autumn term. This position will see the successful applicant teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths to various ability levels. The position is available on a full time basis and is due to start in time for the new academic year.

The school has forged a strong reputation in recent years built upon a track record of exam success which is still continuing its upward trend. Last years results seeing over 80% of GCSE pupils achieving 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths, whilst at A-Level the school had total exams results producing A* or A grades well over 20%. This success has been produced through a concerted effort from all vested parties and the school are keen to appoint a Teacher who will embrace the ethos of hard work and high expectations that permeates through all aspects of school life.

The school itself is located to the South of the city centre with pupils coming from diverse backgrounds with a high proportion of pupils coming from ethnic minority groups. The school have an average proportion of EAL pupils when compared to the national average with the proportion of pupils with special needs or disability also approximately average.

The school have an established reputation and have a dynamic leadership team working under the guidance of an inspirational Head Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is really going places.
