Job description
My client, a popular and well known school in the Leicester is currently seeking an experienced teacher of maths for the 2016/17 academic year.

This will be a full time role, initially on a one year contract however there is scope for progression within the role in addition to the possibility of being taken on permanently depending on performance. You will be a qualified maths teacher or experienced lecturer, capable of teaching maths to KS5 (with a strong background in teaching statistics). The school has recently undergone a number of changes, and have converted to academy status alongside two very succesful 11-14 schools. They are ideally seeking someone who is able to demonstrate outstanding subject knowledge whilst also engaging their students and sharing their passion for mathematics. The department is extremely supportive, and the school certainly has a lot to offer for the right candidate.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time
