An exciting position has become available for a full or part time Maths Teacher based in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will earn £30,000 - £35,000 depending upon experience.

The role is to start after the summer holidays in September.

About the school:

This is a based on the outskirts of Chesterfield. It is a large school (ages 11 to 18) where most students at the school achieve good progress and Students' GCSE results have been above the national average for some time. Located in a great environment, you will be coming in to work in a welcoming environment with good support from the other Teachers and Head of Department.

About the role:

You will be teaching the national maths curriculum to key stages 3,4 and 5.

To be successful for this role, you will:

  • Have experience in teaching Mathematics in a UK school or educational organisation
  • Hold qualified Teacher Status
  • Ideally have experience of teaching a wide age range of pupils within KS2 to KS5
  • Ideally have experience in teaching GCSE and A-level Maths.
  • Be able to plan lessons
  • Be passionate about the ongoing development of children
