We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join supportive secondary schools across Dewsbury.

Job Description:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that support students of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress
• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Encouraging student confidence, participation, and academic achievement
• Working collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams
• Supporting safeguarding and student wellbeing procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✅ Strong subject knowledge within Mathematics
✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✅ Passion for raising student achievement and engagement
✅ Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
✅ Commitment to maintaining high teaching standards and professionalism
