Protocol Education are working closely with a welcoming secondary school in Telford where students feel safe, supported, and genuinely proud to be part of the community. They’re now looking for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team and make a real impact.

This is a school built on three simple but powerful values: Ambition, Respect and Courage. They’re not just words on a wall. They shape daily life, guide decision-making, and encourage pupils to grow into confident, thoughtful young people who aim high and back themselves. Diversity is celebrated, and every background, story, and experience is seen as something that strengthens the whole school community.

There’s a shared belief here that excellence is something you work towards every day. Pupils are recognised for their individual strengths and interests, and staff take real care in nurturing those talents. The focus isn’t just on exam results, it’s on helping young people build futures they feel proud of.

Learning sits firmly at the heart of everything. The curriculum is designed to build strong subject knowledge while helping students apply their learning in real-world contexts. It’s about making Maths meaningful, relevant, and empowering, so pupils understand not only how to solve problems, but why it matters.

The school has a strong identity and sense of purpose, inspired by its Olympian heritage. Respect, excellence, and friendship aren’t just talked about, they’re lived out in lessons, corridors, and on the sports field. Staff are trusted, well supported, and encouraged to focus on what truly matters: high-quality teaching and positive relationships.

  • Pupils who feel secure, supported, and ready to learn

  • A strong enrichment programme, including clubs and international opportunities

  • A culture built on respect and strong relationships

  • An approachable senior leadership team that genuinely champions staff

What they’re looking for

  • A passionate Maths Teacher with UK QTS or strong secondary teaching experience

  • Someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a real love of numbers

  • A calm, consistent approach to behaviour with high expectations for every pupil

  • A team player who enjoys being part of wider school life
