Do you have experience tutoring young people?

If so then we could have something for you! We are hiring tutors in the Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockon, Redcar and Darlington areas to support students across KS3/KS4 who's learning has been effected by school closures , your skills will be needed to bridge that gap in learning. .

To be successful in this role you must:
• Be Experiences in supporting young people with behaviour that challenges (preferable)
• Have experience tutoring in either functional skills, ASDAN, GCSEs or NVQs (essential)
• Be confident in assisting pupils with a range of different needs and abilities
• Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour, promoting focus on learning and development and giving on-going 1:1 support where needed
• Be looking for a role that is rewarding and varied

We need people who have a drive to help young people with SEMH and have experience of supporting children with these needs. You must be exceptionally patient, supportive and nurturing. Must be flexible and willing to travel at short notice. Available Monday to Friday preferable but not essential.
