Job description
Protocol Education are closely working with one of it's partnership schools to provide a Maths Intervention specialist that is happy to support across an SEMH setting supporting students aged 9 - 16.

The school are looking for someone with a proven knowledge of Maths that is happy to create lasting relationships with students and work with small groups of students to help them reach achievable targets.

Students that attend the school want to succeed and achieve despite their barriers to learning. Candidates would ideally have experience supporting students with a history of challenging behaviour and candidates must be resilient and be confident in providing both academic and emotional support.

This role is to begin at the start of the new academic year and would potentially lead to permanent employment within the school.

The school are happy to meet with unqualified maths teachers, or aspiring maths teachers that have experience working young people. Candidates with a background of working with youth offenders, residential children's homes or youth settings are also welcome to apply.
