SEMH, Maths and PE Teacher (KS3/4)

Immediate Start, 8.30 - 4:00 Monday to Friday. Temp to Perm contract available for the right candidiate.

The Role
Our Client, an Alternative Provision in Leeds, is offering an exciting opportunity for a committed Maths & PE Teacher to join a highly specialised team dedicated to providing support for the children and young people in thier care. You will deliver an adapted curriculum of Maths and PE to KS3 and 4 learners.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have QTS and experience working with vulnerable learners with SEMH and other complex needs. Passion for the role is vital and a desire to improve education and develop students learning will make you the ideal candidate for this role. Due to the immediacy of the position, we would ask that appicants have an enhanced DBS certificate maintained on the update service.

We would welcome applicants with a knowledge of ACES, childhood trauma and who have experience working in a therapeutic and inclusive mannar with learners with Social, Emotional and Behavioural needs. Team Teach is compulsory for the position, and training can be delivered where appropriate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
