Job description
Do you have experience supporting students in Maths, English and/or functional skills? Have you worked as a tutor or educational aide? Do you have a qualification in Maths or English? Protocol Education are looking for tutors and learning support assistants to work in schools and educational organisations across the South East London and Bromley boroughs.

The ideal candidate will have:

•A qualification in Maths and/or English to A level standard or above
•Previous experience working with/and or supporting students with Maths, English or Functional Skills work to GSCE level
•Hold, or be able to apply for, an Enhanced DBS check and have it signed to the update service
•Be able to take initiative and be confident in the subject at hand


Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

•Supporting students in groups or 1:1 with their set work
•Helping prepare class work and materials before lessons
•Monitoring students behaviour and helping them to stay focused
•Liaise with staff and parents about student progress
•Helping tidy the classroom at the end of the school day
