A small & friendly Primary School in the heart of Loughborough are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their SEN Team for an ASAP start. The SENCo is looking for someone that is confident in their ability of the use of British Sign Language (BSL) , Makaton or PECS techniques . The role will involve you supporting two students across the School utilising the use of the techniques and training provided by the School.

The ideal candid ate must be confident within their ability using British Sign Language (BSL), Makaton or PECS techniques and working alongside the SENCo. The SENCo has mentioned that this role will allow you to work alongside her with day to day tasks and will give you a fantastic insight into working with SEN children.

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Supporting 2 students that are partly deaf
• Utilising the use of British Sign Language (BSL), Makaton or PECS techniques
• Working alongside the SENCo and working with Education Health Care Plans
• Long-term & full-time position - Scope for a permanent contract
• £60 per day - Scope for £70 per day after 12 working weeks
• Located in Loughborough

• Good academics required - Degree & A-Levels
• It's essential that you have previous experience using Bright Sign Language (BSL), Makaton or PECS techniques
• Must be a caring and supportive individual that is prepared to put the children first
• Good understanding of the Primary curriculum

• Graded 'Good' in latest Ofsted report
• Fantastic SEN Team throughout the School
• Supportive SLT that provide all staff with additional training
• Bright & Modern classrooms
