Job description
Protocol Education are currently working with a large SEND School providing support across their lunch time periods.

They are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic lunch time cover assistant to support their students from 11:15am - 2:15pm inclusive. There may be an opportunity to pick up more hours around this.

The successful candidate will ensure that the children have a positive lunch and play time experience. You will supervise children on the playground, encourage our children to adopt healthy eating habits, and to be active during play. Candidates will have a calm and professional manner and be able to communicate clearly and confidently. Previous experience in a school is essential.

Students at the school are aged between 4 and 19 and may have a range of learning and physical disabilities and elements of personal care will be involved.

This particular post may suit someone with experience in Nursery settings and care based settings.

To be eligible to apply for this role through Protocol Education you will first need to undergo our registration process which includes; a face to face interview, full referencing, qualification checks, a DBS check unless you already have one on the update service and the obligatory safeguarding checks as Protocol Education are committed to the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
