Job description
A good school in the heart of Southall are looking for four SMSA's to join their team. The school provide a secure and caring environment where children are comfortable and most important of all, happy. They have high expectations of each and every one of their pupils in an educational and social capacity.

The ideal candidate should have experience:

•Supervising children in classrooms, corridors, all areas of the playgrounds, pitch areas or canteen. This will include supervision indoors during wet weather.
•Follow the lunchtime rota and supervise appropriate areas.
•Occupy the children as appropriate in various games or activities.
•Supervise the safe and proper use of playground equipment.
•Ensure that the children remain in the appropriate areas of the playground.
•Ensure that children treat each other, the playground equipment and environment with respect.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:

1. You will need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a school setting.
2. You must have a good level of both spoken and written English

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
