Protocol Education work with SEND schools and pupil referral units based in Ealing and are currently seeking to appoint agency staff for daily and long term teaching assistant roles.
You will need the ability to manage very challenging and extreme behaviour to join their support team as some schools cater for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream schooling. This could be due to social and emotional mental health difficulties and offers positive outcomes to young people of school age who have disengaged, or are at the point of disengaging with education
Key skills and experience needed:
• Experience working in specialist schools such as SEN schools or Pupil Referral Units
• Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
• Strong behaviour management and confident with challenging behaviour
• SEN experience is essential
• One to one and small group work
• Team Teach or equivalent
