Job description
Graduates required: all subjects! Aspiring Teachers needed!

Are you a graduate looking for work? have you graduated in the last few years? Are you thinking of a career in teaching but would like to get some school-based experience first? If so, Protocol Education would love to hear from you!

We are looking for:

Learning Support Assistants, to work with children with additional needs, who find it challenging to access the curriculum.
The successful Learning Support Assistant candidates will be working closely with individual children to support their educational needs and achieve the outcomes set out in their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You must be patient and caring, and be a good team player. Previous experience of working with children with additional educational needs is desirable, but training and support will be available - applicants will need to use their initiative and adapt quickly and intuitively to the needs of the children as well as a have a willingness to learn and receive direction from others. These posts may be of particular interest to graduates considering a career in teaching and looking to gain experience.

Desirable Qualifications:
-An exceptional opportunity to get yourself on the road towards becoming an excellent education professional
-Particular interest and enthusiasm for working with children and supporting learning
-Experience of caring for or working with primary aged children
-Excellent literacy and numeracy skills: English & Maths GCSE, C or above
- The chance to support students aged 4-11 in their studies: in 1:1 situations, small groups and full lessons.
