We are working closely with welcoming primary schools across Colchester who are seeking caring and committed LSAs to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with their learning, development, and emotional wellbeing

• Work 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

• Support children with additional needs, including SEN, where required

• Help create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

• An interest in inclusion, SEN, and making a positive impact
