We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Lower Key Stage Teaching Assistant in the Teesside region (specifically Hartlepool or Stockton area)

Here at Protocol, we work with amazing schools in Middlesbrough, Redcar, Clevland, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington and County Durham and we connect high quality educators, such as yourself, and place them in the appriopate schools that we work with (this is dependant on the job and the location of the school).

The ideal candidate will be able to work well within the team as well as supporting students 1:1 and in small groups.

Ideally, the candidate will have experience as a T.A as well as appropiate Teaching Assistant qualifications, however, if you have the correct transfersable skills, then this is equally desirable! 

 

Your requirements 

  • Good numeracy, reading and writing skills 
  • Excellent classroom managements skills 
  • An enhanced DBS (which is accessible) or must be willing to apply for one 
  • References covering the last three years of employment (preferably recent work experience with young lives)

 

Your Role 

  • Full time (Monday to Friday) 8:30 - 3:30 
  • Offering guidance and support with regards to 1:1 learning 
  • Supporting the teachers and pupils by any means necessary in the classroom
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and passionate (the students will thank-you for it!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
