Are you interested in making a difference to the lives of vulnerable young children with social and emotional difficulties?

On behalf of an OUTSTANDING SEN school covering pupils from ages 4-18, we are looking for an experienced support staff to transform lives of pupils by providing the right skills, attitude and encouragement. Our client is committed to safeguarding and providing welfare of children and have a keen interest in ensuring equality and diversity is consistent.

To be suitable for this role you must have experience working with children/young adults. You must have been in a similar previous role as either an LSA/ SEN TA/ HLTA or a Behaviour Mentor.

What is needed:-
Proven ability to support children/adults with complex needs.
Ability to provide personal care and trained in moving and handling, beneficial but not essential.
A passion for supporting and nurturing students which may display challenging behaviour.
A commitment to developing the personalities, talents and abilities of all students.
An enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally.
Ability to communicate clearly with pupils of varying communication abilities.

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00
