Job description
Protocol is looking for an Experienced Maths teacher for an Academy in Essex. You must be experienced in Teaching Maths to GCSE and be free for September 2016. The role is initially for one term with the possibility of the role continuing....

The Academy has been granted a British Council Platinum award for its work in Connecting Classrooms. It is an Edward de Bono Thinking School, with Trainer status, has operated as a Student Engagement Trust demonstration site and provides a lead in Continuing Professional Development as part of the Thurrock Teaching School Alliance. The Academy has a small but growing Sixth Form and offers a range of level 3 vocational courses alongside a full range of planned work experience, leisure and recreation opportunities, and supported individual study. In addition, students are able to undertake A levels in the core subjects and access a wide range of courses made available through a strategic partnership with South Essex College. Where appropriate, students can continue studying GCSE English and Mathematics alongside other Level 2 programmes. Supported by its sponsor and the Local Authority the Academy also takes on roll students with severe behavioural, emotional and social difficulties in its specialist resource base ASCEND. This provides for 20 students whose engagement in the provision of other establishments in the area has completely broken down.
