We’re working with welcoming primary schools across Shropshire looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September on a permanent basis.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves being part of school life, enjoys supporting children to grow in confidence, and wants to settle into a long-term role where they’ll genuinely be valued.

You’ll be joining supportive staff teams who understand just how important great Teaching Assistants are. Because let’s be honest, schools simply wouldn’t run without them.

The role:

  • Full-time, permanent Level 3 Teaching Assistant position
  • September 2026 start
  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Delivering small group interventions and classroom support
  • Working closely with teachers to support learning and pupil progress
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Helping to create a calm, positive, and engaging learning environment

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Has recent experience working within a primary school setting
  • Is nurturing, proactive, and confident supporting children’s learning
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Works well as part of a team and brings a positive attitude to school life
  • Has a genuine passion for helping children thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
