Job description
Sheffield based Primary school in requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start in Septemeber. The school deliver EYFS,KS1 and KS2 education to around

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will supervise children, including whole classes and PPA time under the direction of a teacher. Assisting with the day-to-day management of the learning environment including the preparation of teaching aids, equipment and materials and contributing to class, school displays. You will provide feedback to the teacher about learning activities and pupil progress and assist in the implementation of pupils IEP's. You will have plenty of opportunity to support individuals inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities and work with other professionals such as speech and language therapists.

It is hoped that you will be able to support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills and work with parents/carers to support pupils learning and behavioural needs.

Applicants should be level 3 qualified or due to complete the course shortly. You will have experience working in a primary school environment and be able to demonstrate that you have contributed to the outcomes of pupils within your learning environments.

You must be available a minumum of 3 days a week to apply for this role. You will be rewarded with a long term opportunity with the possibility of a permanent post during the academic year. For more information please apply online and attach an upto date CV.
