Job description
Level 2 & Level 3 Teaching assistants

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants (Level 2 and Level 3) to provide support for pupils and teachers in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils.

Vacancies are also available for Teaching Assistants to provide one-to-one support to pupils with special educational needs. One pupil has multi-sensory needs, and we are looking for someone who is consistent in their approach to working with a child with multi-sensory needs; someone who is creative, inventive, resilient, and flexible.

If you

• have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in English and Maths

• have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or demonstrable experience of working with or caring for children with special needs

• are flexible and responsive with the ability to address potentially challenging situations

• have a commitment to deliver first class support to staff and pupils

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
