Job Duties:

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and ensuring the learning environment is conducive to learning
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of educational materials
  • Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
  • Assessing students' progress and providing feedback to teachers
  • Helping to maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Safeguarding training

Working Conditions:
