We are recruiting for a part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the ARMS department from September. This role offers flexibility while still providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a highly supportive team.

You will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and develop key skills, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with learning activities in class and in small groups
  • Assist with emotional regulation and wellbeing support
  • Work alongside teaching staff to implement tailored strategies
  • Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
  • Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive classroom environment

 

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience considered)
  • Have a caring, patient and flexible approach
  • Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Be reliable and committed to supporting children with additional needs
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
