Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in South Shields.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils throughout the school day, working alongside teachers and other support staff to ensure pupils receive the individualised support they need.

You will support classroom learning, lead small-group activities and provide targeted support to pupils who may require additional assistance with their learning, communication or behaviour.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have previous experience working within a school or education setting
• Have a good understanding of SEN and inclusive education
• Be confident supporting behaviour and learning
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils
• Be reliable, proactive and enthusiastic
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team

Working hours:

• Monday–Friday
• 8:30am–4:30pm
• Full-time position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
