Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Gateshead that are looking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistants for full-time positions starting in September.

This role is ideal for an experienced TA who enjoys working with students aged 11-16 and can support both academic progress and pastoral development.

Role Details

• Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm

• Term-time only

• Long-term opportunity

Your responsibilities

• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4

• Delivering targeted interventions

• Providing classroom and pastoral support

• Supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

• Working collaboratively with teaching staff

We're looking for someone who

• Holds a Level 3 TA qualification

• Has secondary school experience (desirable)

• Is confident working with adolescents

• Has strong behaviour management skills

• Can build positive relationships quickly
