Protocol Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Sunderland that are looking to recruit Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who enjoys supporting children across the curriculum and wants to play a key role in helping pupils reach their full potential.

Role Details

• Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:00pm

• Term-time only

• Long-term opportunity with potential for a permanent contract

Your responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

• Delivering small group interventions in literacy and numeracy

• Providing 1:1 support where required

• Supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs

• Assisting with classroom preparation and resources

• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and families

We're looking for someone who

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

• Has previous school-based experience

• Is confident supporting pupils across a range of abilities

• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Is caring, proactive and reliable
