Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Gateshead

Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity?

Protocol Education is recruiting confident and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support children across specialist educational provisions throughout Gateshead.

As part of this role, you'll work with pupils who require additional support to access learning, helping them build confidence, independence and essential life skills.

The role includes:

• Supporting pupils with SEND.
• Delivering personalised learning support.
• Promoting positive behaviour.
• Working within specialist and alternative provisions.
• Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom.

You'll need:

• A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous school or SEND experience.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as travel between different provisions is required.
• A positive and flexible approach.

Desirable:

• Knowledge or experience of British Sign Language (BSL).
