Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary schools in Stockton.

The role:
Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, you will focus on providing one-to-one support working alongside a children in a 1:1 capacity or in small group interventions, supporting the class teacher to help keep children on task. At times you will also be providing general classroom support for a class of children.

To be considered for the position, you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Child care.
• Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a school environment.
• Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• Have experience supporting children in primary education in Early Years, Key Stage One or two.
• Ideally have experience delivering Literacy and Maths interventions.
