Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a nursery based in Godalming who are looking to appoint a level 3 nursery nurse to work on an ongoing basis.
Nursery Nurse - Full time Monday-Friday
Location: Godalming
Permanent and Full Time 40hrs (8-6)
DO YOU HAVE A NVQ LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE QUALIFICATION OR EQUIVALENT?
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING WITH CHILDREN IN A CHILDCARE SETTING?

As a Nursery Nurse you will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience to work as a nursery nurse:
·NVQ in Childcare qualification or equivalent
·Have experience working with children in a childcare setting
·Experience as a keyworker/Understanding of keyworker systems
·Excellent rates of pay, benefits and on-going support and career development.
Your Role as a nursery nurse: * To ensure high standards of care and education.
·Taking care of key children.
·Assist in the day to day running and structure of the nursery, planning and performing activities. * Performing observations on key children and analysing their development.
·Liaising with room leaders and senior members of staff in the nursery.
·Having to perform risk assessments on equipment and the areas within the nursery to ensure maximum safety. * To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education.
·To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment.
·To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with your team reflective of the EYFS.
·To work in partnership with the parents and provide good communication with them.
·Ensure confidentiality at all times and communicate with parents on key issues etc.
Please note all Nursery Nurse Applicants will be required to have a DBS Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required.
Job Type: Permanent or Long Term
Salary: £11-£12 per hour
