Job description
Protocol Education is currently looking for Nursery Nurses and Assistants to work in private nurseries on a supply, long term or permanent basis in Cambridgeshire.

All Nursery Nurses must be Level 3 qualified with experience working as a Nursery Nurse/Practitioner/Assistant and a sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Framework.

Nursery Assistants/Playworkers must have previous experience of working in a nursery or a Children's Centre for a minimum of a 6 weeks period..

To apply you MUST have a Level 2 or 3 in one of the following:
• Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce
• NVQ in Playwork
• NVQ Caring for Children and Young People
• Diploma in Playwork
• NVQ Children's Care Learning and Development
• Diploma in Pre-School Practice
• Diploma in Childcare and Education
• BTEC National Diploma in Early Years
• Diploma in Home-based Childcare
AND
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have up to date professional childcare related references (covering the last 2 years)
• Have an enhanced DBS disclosure on the Update Service of be happy to apply for one

Don't forget that with more experience, you could become a key worker within that child's everyday life, developing strategies and plans with parents, to support their progress and learning.

. Be creative and flexible and provide high quality childcare.

. Excellent communication skills

. The ability to work co-operatively with children and their families, in a sensitive and positive way

. Planning and organisation

. I.T. Skills
