Protocol Education are working with an Outstanding School in Hammersmith who looking for an experienced and dedicated Early Years Educator to join them ASAP.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver activities in line with the EYFS curriculum, be able to make learning fun and encourage exploration through play. They will also be required to provide regular feedback on children's progress, so prior experience of this would be an advantage. To be considered, ideally you will have worked as a key worker for groups of children and have good knowledge of OFSTED requirments and the EYFS. You will be required to work with Nursery aged children with Autism and Speech & Language needs so previous SEN experience is required.

Minutes from East Acton station, the school has great CPD opportunities to offer via external training and inset days. They understand personal development is very important for both their staff and the education and development of the children.

This is a long term contract until July 2021 but would turn into a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful applicants will need:

• Ideally a minimum NNEB/CACHE, BTEC or NVQ in Childcare at Level 3
• A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Knowledge and experience of meeting the needs of different children
• Excellent interaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly and simply
• Have an up to date DBS or willing to apply for a new one
• Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and practice

An enhanced DBS is required by law to work with children, if you do not have one on the update service, you must be prepared to apply for one through Protocol Education at the cost of £40.
