Level 3 Learning Support Assistant

Location: Gateshead

Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic Level 3 Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of educational provisions in Gateshead.

You'll support children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.

Your responsibilities:

  • One-to-one and small group support.
  • Assisting with personalised learning programmes.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.
  • Supporting pupils with SEND across different educational settings.

Essential:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • School-based experience.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport, as this position requires travelling between different provisions throughout Gateshead.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL).
  • Experience supporting pupils with communication needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
