Responsible to: Nursery Deputy Manager/Nursery Manager.

Purpose of the Job: To provide safe, high quality education and care for a group of children; to fulfil legal and statutory requirements; to contribute to the Nursery's interests and to implement nursery policies.

Salary: £18,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year

Main Duties:
We are seeking a qualified Montessori teacher for a Teacher position in a successful Nursery with an excellent reputation
You will need to have the following qualifications, training, skills and experience:
• A minimum of Level 3 in Childcare or Montessori Diploma is essential
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Key worker experience
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and the inspection process
• Strong personality who can deal with difficult situation and who can challenge practices, lead by example and train new staff.
• Experience of working in a Montessori setting is desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
• Applicants must be motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
• We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
• Being able to work flexible hours
• Salary includes 3 Out of work hour 3 training days.
