Key Responsibilities – Early Years Teaching Assistant Role

• Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework
• Deliver engaging play-based and sensory learning activities
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating nursery environment
• Work collaboratively with staff while also using your own initiative
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements – Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
• Experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to “get stuck in”
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Desirable Skills

• Paediatric First Aid (not essential – training can be provided)
